Regions of Origin


Our barrels and puncheons originate from three distinct locales: France, Central Europe or America. Those called "mixed" are the only ones to be made of staves of American oak and heads of French oak.

French Oak
• "Sessile" Oak from Allier, Nevers and Vosges mainly used for wine.
• Pedunculated Oak from Limousin mainly used for distilled alcohols.
• Manufacturing process: split wood.

Central European Oak
• « Sessile » Oak.
• Country : Romania.
• Manufacturing process: split wood.


American Oak
• White Oak from America.
• State : Missouri.
• Manufacturing process: sawn wood.
